Normally, yo would get the fenders aligned with the gaps set, then you would add the hinges and adjust the hood and lastly you would add the pins. They also make the hood open and close very smooth. After a ton of shopping around for factory replacements, I am pretty certain I have decided on the Six Pack style hood by US Body to replace the non-salvageable hood on my car. Ever wonder why the factory only used the oil-ite bushings on the top hinges ? Bet you had a hard time drilling the door side of the hinge, wait you don't have to with the bushing kit because it goes on the soft body side hinge half. First of all they look great. Obviously I’m having a hard time finding some original ones to have rebuilt so looks like my only option is going to be remanufactured ones from a store.
